GM Making A New Small Block V8

GM announced that they are investing $918 million dollars to get their facilities ready for the new sixth-generation small block v8 engine. The fullsize trucks and SUV’s will continue to get this powerplant for now.

The CT5-V Blackwing won’t get it and the Camaro is on its way out. This engine might work its way into the Corvette but the Corvette E-Ray should tell you a lot about its future.

The Gen-VI won’t probably hit the streets for another two years.
