C8 Corvette Impounded by 23 Year Old Driver

A Canadian driver gets his father’s C8 Corvette impounded for two weeks for doing 115 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Police say that the driver is being charged with stunt driving, which kicks in when a vehicle is traveling at more than 40 km/h (25 mph) over the maximum on roads with a speed limit of less than 80 km/h (50 mph), among other criteria. The charge comes with an immediate 30-day driver’s license suspension.

The department also showed a picture of a radar gun showing a speed of 186 km/h (115 mph), next to a photo of the blue Chevy C8 Corvette on the back of a tow truck.
