The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
Stands out from the rest of the Camaro lineup with an aggressive front-end design, with a large lower front grille and added aerodynamic bits. The ZL1 features a black power-dome hood, as well as 20-inch wheels that are wider in the rear and Goodyear Eagle F1 high-performance tires. It also comes with dark-tinted taillights and a pronounced rear spoiler.
Celebrating the end of its current production run, the Camaro will be offered in the ZL1 Collectors Edition. Just 350 examples will be built, and they will come with special graphics, matte black paint, gloss black racing stripes and black 20-inch wheels. Each one will also come with a special edition Shinola watch.
The Camaro will also be offered in the Garage 56 Edition, commemorating a Camaro ZL1 NASCAR Cup Car participating in the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans. Only 56 will be produced.
Under the hood, the ZL1 boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine. It puts out 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through either a six-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. With the automatic transmission, the ZL1 can sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds. The manual-equipped model does the deed in 4 seconds, on the way to a claimed top speed of 190 mph.
